Benoit Mapa, DO, has clinical expertise treating patients with conception planning, prenatal, pregnancy through childbirth and postpartum care. Dr. Mapa provides comprehensive, compassionate gynecological services for every age and stage of a woman’s life and believes that his patients should be an active participant in their care.
After earning his osteopathic medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Bradenton, FL, Dr. Mapa completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, NJ.
He has been involved in several research studies, most recently on primary cesarean delivery and maternal complications in obstetrics and has presented at national conferences and been published in a peer-reviewed journal. He is a Junior Fellow in Practice of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
