Angela Markman, MD, FACOG
Dr. Markman is a board-certified physician specializing in obstetrics and gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ, after earning a medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and her undergraduate degree from New York University.
Dr. Markman has a special interest in adolescent gynecology and has a wonderful way of making first-time obstetrical patients feel comfortable in this new experience. She served as president of the American Medical Association while in medical school, and knew she had found her specialty during her work for the organization with women on the island of Dominica. She saw a disparity in healthcare among the women there and wanted to do her best to ensure all women received equal care.
“I love being an OB/GYN because it is a true privilege to care for and treat different generations of women,” she says.
Dr. Markman speaks fluent Russian and medical Spanish. When she isn’t caring for her patients, she loves spending time with her husband and three adorable young kids, traveling and enjoying new activities and adventures.
Dr. Markman sees patients at our Marlboro, NJ location.
